前几天去看现在在 off b'way 的 rent 眼尖的朋友注意到了一个我以前没有想过的事: 《La Vie Boheme》 中除了各主角以外还有一些龙套 我以前觉得那些只是用来壮势 但是如果想太多的话, 这个人数是有意义的 虽然不同的制作龙套角色人数不一样 但是现在这个制作, 导演似乎想要传达一个特殊的意象 一开始他向一幅着名的文艺复兴绘画致敬 (防剧透请开灯 创世纪: http://goo.gl/0edwp ) 之後将桌子排成一长条以後, 数了数人头: 刚好 13 个。 这不是最後的晚餐吗 再用我浅薄的知识, Benny 对应着背叛者犹大 Angel 教会人去爱人, 在 《contact》 中如同被钉上十字架般的在火中热舞而死 带有神性的名字 对应耶稣刚好 不过其他的们徒有没有对应的角色我就不知道了 * 刚刚又有强者我同学找到其他人也持有相同看法 https://sites.google.com/site/religioninrent/outline Religious Symbolism in RENT In his article RENT: Reinterpreting The Gospel of Mark At the Close of the Millennium[1], Scranton describes how the Life Café (La Vie Boheme) scene may symbolize the Last Supper. He also relates the death of Angel (a major character) to the death and resurrection of Christ. In this section I will explore this idea further.
