LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Athletics are set to celebrate the groundbreaking of the
organization’s $1.7 billion stadium on the Las Vegas Strip later this month, s
ources told 8 News Now Monday evening.
While groundbreaking on the Tropicana Las Vegas site for the 30,000-seat ballpar
k has already begun, a ceremonial groundbreaking is set to take place on June 23
at 8 a.m.
