For any event held after January 1, 2011, the maximum age will be 25 as of January 1 of the year in which the World Championship is held for Juniors and for the Youngsters, the maximum age will be 20 as of January 1 of the year in which the World Championship is held. The competition: - will start on the 10th of October 2010 with a Round Robin of 5 x 10 board matches per day held over 3 (5 x 10 board matches) and 1 day (2 x 10 board matches) on 13th October, followed by the quarter finals, semi finals and final. - The teams eliminated after both the Round Robin and the quarter-final may play in the Individual World Championship (which may be divided in two categories, Juniors and Youngsters, depending on the number of participants) free of charge for the last three days. - Your Junior or Youngsters team consisting only of Junior/Youngster players, may also participate in the early stages of the Rosenblum or McConnell free of charge. These events start on 5th October. - Your Youth Pairs may also participated in the Mixed Pairs, to be held from 2nd – 4th October at half price, provided both members of the pair are Youth players. - The Opening Ceremony will be on 1st October, and the Closing Ceremony will be on 16th, at both of which all participants in the World Championship events will be very welcome. Entry fees: - Ortiz-Patiño Trophy: US$ 1 500 - Damiani Cup: US$ 1 000 Hotel: We have reserved a special hotel: The Hampton Inn (5 minutes walk from the playing area) Very good 3 /4 stars, at a very low rate - US$ 99 (plus 15.2% for state and local taxes) for a double or single room, including breakfast, - US$ 10 per extra person per room charge for your Youth Teams, NPC and Coach. - Flights: It may be possible for your participants to fly directly to Philadelphia; alternatively they can fly to New York, and travel to Philadelphia by train, which takes about 1½ hours and may be less expensive. We need to know before the end of October 2009 if your team will come to participate in the event for which it has qualified and the exact date of arrival and departure. We need to know how many persons will be coming and how many rooms you would like reserved at the Hampton Inn This is a very important notice as we can not retain the reservation for the juniors who do not register early; after November 2009 these rooms will be released to other teams so it is very important that you give us the details of your reservation before then.
