He was helped off stage by members of his band, and then rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. The BBC quotes a hospital spokeswoman as saying that Morrissey is "much improved" and was held overnight as a "precautionary measure." Morrissey's website has posted a note that says, "Morrissey is in stable condition after his collapse in Swindon Saturday night.
