Gordon indicated Bogut's ankle was healing appropriately and surgery would not be required, pending an additional exam in about one month. Bogut will be able to begin some rehabilitation activities, the team announced, and the recovery period of eight to 12 weeks has not changed. The 7-foot Bogut suffered a broken ankle in a game at Houston on Jan. 25 when he went up to block a shot and landed on the foot of Rockets guard Kyle Lowry. Bogut has spent the past month with his foot in a protective boot and has been confined largely to his couch as doctors wanted him to stay off the ankle. He has undergone daily physiotheraphy treatments at his house while trying to speed his recovery. Bogut has been out of the lineup for the last four weeks and the Bucks are 6-10 in that period. They were 0-5 with him out of the lineup earlier in the season, making their record 6-15 with him absent. --
