Mcgillㄟ

I don't agree with the sentence above for two points.
1. Not all people in Quebec can speak in English--in fact,
once you step out of the Montreal city, most of them can't
speak in English fluently. When I travel around in Quebec,
most people can speak only a little English.
2. For my experience in Quebec, people are VERY FRIENDLY whatever
they can speak English or not. Even they can't speak English very well
and you can't speak in French, they will still try to help you. And in case
somebody behaves not like this, give it up! Those are people who won't help
whatever language you speak!
BTW, McGill and Concordia are two English-speaking universities. But Montreal
is mainly a French-speaking city. You don't need to speak in French in the
classroom. However, all the traffic signs and street names are in French.
For my personal experience, sooner or later you will start to learn French.
(It's fun. Don't worry.)
