我也有一样的问题,写信问了加拿大台湾办事处,回答如下 The key question is what passport you will be using to travel. If you are on a Taiwanese passport, you will require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). If you already possess a TRV that will cover the period of travel and allow your re-entry, you do not need to apply for a new one (even if it is coded as a V-1 visitor counterfoil). If your previous TRV is expired, you will need to obtain a new one. This may be done by applying to our office in Taipei, or to one of our offices in the USA (I am assuming you are in Canada).
