(NASB) Proverbs 22:4
The reward of humility and
the fear of the LORD

(NRSV) Proverbs 22:4
The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
is riches and honor and life.
真正 圣经原文与英文的文法冲突的例子：
1 Corinthians 13:13上半节
中文：思高圣经
现今存在的，有信、望、爱
νυνι δε μενει πιστιs ελπιs αγαπη
Now and (it)remains faith , hope , love
此段希腊文的思路，把"信望爱"三者当做单数名词，使用单数的动词，
而不是复数。
虽然先把信望爱单独讨论，又肯定爱的价值最高，
但是 把"信望爱"三者当做单数名词，也就是同时包含三者的集合名词，
其实也隐含 真正的 信望爱 是会并存的，不是三者单独存在的关系。
英译本中符合英文文法的翻译，就无法表达这种意义，如：
English:New Jerusalem Bible
As it is, these remain: faith, hope and love
若是直译希腊文，保留单数动词，these remain就要改成 it remains
KJV此节则直译，使用古英文的第三人称单数动词abideth。
KJV有不少新约希腊文句法的英文。
English: King James Version
And now abideth faith, hope, charity
新约圣经中的"三合一"集合名词用法还不少，如以下所示：

"But now faith, hope, love abide" The verb is singular (cf. Gal. 5:22).
Paul often uses this triad (cf. Rom. 5:2-5; Gal. 5:5-6; Eph. 1:15-18;
Col. 1:4-5; I Thess. 1:3; 5:8; Hebrews) and other NT writers also
(cf. Heb. 6:10-12; I Pet. 1:21-22).
