路加福音十21-24
就在那时刻，耶稣因圣神而欢欣说：
「父啊！天地的主宰，我称谢你，
因为你将这些事瞒住了智慧和明达的人，而启示了给小孩子。
是的，父啊！你原来喜欢这样做。
我父将一切都交给我，除了父，没有一个认识子是谁，
除了子及子所愿启示的人外，也没有一个认识父是谁的。
耶稣转过身来私下对门徒说：
「见你们所见之事的眼睛是有福的。
我告诉你们：
曾经有许多先知及君王希望看你们所见的，而没有看见；
听你们所听的，而没有听到。」

Just at this time, filled with joy by the Holy Spirit, he said,
'I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for hiding these things
from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children. Yes,
Father, for that is what it has pleased you to do.
22
Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows who the
Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son and those to
whom the Son chooses to reveal him.'
23
Then turning to his disciples he spoke to them by themselves,
'Blessed are the eyes that see what you see,
24
for I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see,
and never saw it; to hear what you hear, and never heard it.'
单字：
reveal *v. 露出, 显示, 透露, 揭露, 泄露, (神)启示;
n. 窗侧, 门侧
entrust *v. 信赖, 信托, 交托
hide sth. from sb. 对某人保守某事为秘密
disciple *n.门徒
笔记：
英语福音有时会用比较长、被动的句型、一些子句，包来包去，
不是很直述，
可以用括号或颜色把子句括出来，帮助理解句子在讲什麽。
例句>
I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth,
for hiding
these things（这些事）
from the learned and the clever（有学问的人、聪明的人）
and revealing
them（这些事） to little children.
the + adj. --> ooxx的那种人
例如：the smart = 聪明的人们
the learned = 饱学之士
the clever = 聪明的人
例句>
Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father;
每件事都被天父交托给我了
and no one knows 没人知道
who the Son is except the Father 子是谁，除了父知道,
and
who the Father is except the Son and those
to
whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
(也没人知道)父是谁，除了子，
以及
那些人[子愿意启示(自己)给他们的那些人]。
（这边的him = the Son）
