第三天，在加里肋亚加纳有婚宴，耶稣的母亲在那里；
耶稣和衪的门徒也被请去赴婚宴。
酒缺了，耶稣的母亲向衪说：「他们没有酒了。」
耶稣回答说：「女人，这於我和你有什麽关系？我的时刻尚未来到。」
衪的母亲给仆役说：「他无论吩咐你们什麽，你们就作什麽。」
在那里放着六口石缸，是为犹太人取洁礼用的；每口可容纳两三桶水。
耶稣向仆役说：「你们把缸灌满水吧！」他们就灌满了，直到缸口。
然後，耶稣给他们说：「现在你们舀出来，送给司席。」他们便送去了。
司席一尝已变成酒的水（并不知是从那里来的，舀水的仆役却知道）
司席便叫了新郎来，向他说：
「人人都先摆上好酒，当客人都喝够了，才摆上次等的；你却把好酒保留到现在。」
这是耶稣所行的第一个神迹，是在加里肋亚纳匝肋行的；
衪显示了自己的光荣，衪的门徒们就信从了衪。
此後，衪和衪的母亲、弟兄和门徒下到葛法翁，在那里住了不多几天。
1 On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of
Jesus was there,
2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited.
3 And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all
been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, 'They have no wine.'
4 Jesus said, 'Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.'
5 His mother said to the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you.'
6 There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions
that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons.
7 Jesus said to the servants, 'Fill the jars with water,' and they filled
them to the brim.
8 Then he said to them, 'Draw some out now and take it to the president of
the feast.'
9 They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine.
Having no idea where it came from -- though the servants who had drawn the
water knew -- the president of the feast called the bridegroom
10 and said, 'Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the
guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.'
11 This was the first of Jesus' signs: it was at Cana in Galilee. He revealed
his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and his brothers and
his disciples, but they stayed there only a few days.
