玛尔谷福音5:1-20
他们来到海的对岸革辣撒人的地方。耶稣一下船，
即刻有一个附邪魔的人，从坟墓里出来，迎着他走来，
原来那人居住在坟墓里，再没有人能捆住他，就是用锁链也不能，
因为人屡次用脚镣和锁链将他捆缚，他却将锁链挣断，
将脚镣弄碎，没有人能制伏他。
他昼夜在坟墓里或山陵中喊叫，用石头击伤自己。
他从远处望见了耶稣，就跑来，跪在他前，大声喊说：
「至高天主之子耶稣，我与你有什麽相干？
我因着天主誓求你，不要苦害我！」
因为耶稣曾向他说：「邪魔，从这人身上出去！」
耶稣问他说：「你名叫什麽？」
他回答说：「我名叫『军旅』，因为我们众多。」
他再三恳求耶稣，不要驱逐他们离开此地。
那时，在那边山坡上，有一大群猪正在放牧，他们恳求耶稣说：
「请打发我们到那猪群，好让我们进入牠们内。」
耶稣准许了他们；邪魔就出来，进入了猪内。那群猪约有二千，
便从山崖上直冲到海里，在海里淹死了。
放猪的人就逃去，到城里和乡间传报开了；人都出来看是发生了什麽事。
他们来到耶稣跟前，看见那个附魔的人，即为「军旅」所附的人，
坐在那里，穿着衣服，神志清醒，就害怕起来。
看见的人就把附魔的人所遇到的事，和那群猪的事，都给他们述说了。
他们便请求耶稣离开他们的境界。
当耶稣上船时，那曾附过魔的人，恳求耶稣让他同耶稣在一起。
耶稣没有允许他，但对他说：
「你回家，到你的亲属那里，给他们传述上主为你作了何等大事，
怎样怜悯了你。」
那人就走了，在十城区开始传扬耶稣为他所作的何等大事， 众人都惊奇不已。
1 They reached the territory of the Gerasenes on the other side of the lake,
2 and when he disembarked, a man with an unclean spirit at once came out from
the tombs towards him.
3 The man lived in the tombs and no one could secure him any more, even with
a chain,
4 because he had often been secured with fetters and chains but had snapped
the chains and broken the fetters, and no one had the strength to control him.
5 All night and all day, among the tombs and in the mountains, he would howl
and gash himself with stones.
6 Catching sight of Jesus from a distance, he ran up and fell at his feet
7 and shouted at the top of his voice, 'What do you want with me, Jesus, son
of the Most High God? In God's name do not torture me!'
8 For Jesus had been saying to him, 'Come out of the man, unclean spirit.'
9 Then he asked, 'What is your name?' He answered, 'My name is Legion, for
there are many of us.'
10 And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the district.
11 Now on the mountainside there was a great herd of pigs feeding,
12 and the unclean spirits begged him, 'Send us to the pigs, let us go into
them.'
13 So he gave them leave. With that, the unclean spirits came out and went
into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand pigs charged down the cliff
into the lake, and there they were drowned.
14 The men looking after them ran off and told their story in the city and in
the country round about; and the people came to see what had really happened.
15 They came to Jesus and saw the demoniac sitting there -- the man who had
had the legion in him -- properly dressed and in his full senses, and they
were afraid.
16 And those who had witnessed it reported what had happened to the demoniac
and what had become of the pigs.
17 Then they began to implore Jesus to leave their neighbourhood.
18 As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed begged to
be allowed to stay with him.
19 Jesus would not let him but said to him, 'Go home to your people and tell
them all that the Lord in his mercy has done for you.'
20 So the man went off and proceeded to proclaim in the Decapolis all that
Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

◎心得：
简直是zombie电影、或恐怖片（e.g.大法师之类）的场景...
耶稣在这故事里，确实做了驱魔。
关於驱魔，除了『康斯坦汀：驱魔神探』(Constantine)这种比较娱乐性的，
我自己看过『现代驱魔师』(The Rite)这部电影
（还不错看，不会很恐怖，安东尼霍普金斯演老神父演得很好），
讲一位理性怀疑恶魔真实存在的年轻神父，
如何从原本认为恶魔只是「象徵与譬喻」的存在，
到真的相信世界上有魔鬼的过程。
电影演得很戏剧化（毕竟是电影），有一个高潮迭起的故事。
但原着的书，

不是小说，是报导文学，有点像个报告，那位神父的故事，也只占一小章。
书是由一位（印象中，好像不是教友的）记者，经过很多访谈後撰写的，
从外教人的立场去整理，最後没下什麽定论，只是有很多证词。
我看这篇福音，觉得… 即使没附魔，现代人内心的躁乱，也很不少。
如果一个恶魔，对应到一头猪，那就两千个恶魔附身在一个人身上，
这真的很多。
（我猜2000不是实数，应该就跟「成千上万」一样，不是真的这麽多头猪，
但总之表示很多。）
假如一个烦恼算一个恶魔，好像内心有着两千个烦恼那种感觉。
乡民们也曾用枷锁制服附魔的人、也曾阻止他用石头打自己，
不管是为了自卫还是温情，至少是关心他的
（虽然无可奈何之余，把他隔离在坟墓区）。
但耶稣安慰与涤净那个人的身心後，乡民不是欢喜祂为自己的同乡，做了这件事，
而是感到害怕，请耶稣离开。
这种心态，不是很高贵，但却可以体会，毕竟人们害怕自己不理解的事。
那个被治癒的人，想离开这个地方，跟随耶稣修道，但耶稣给他别的任务，
要他回去亲友中，重新融入人群，并且以自己的经验作见证
...这就成为他新的该走的路了。
