MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- LeBron James has a tough act to follow when the
Cleveland Cavaliers meet the Milwaukee Bucks in their second matchup of
the season Wedneaday.
James scored a season-high 52 points in a 111-106 loss to the Bucks on
December 10. Although Cleveland shot 54 percent from the floor (37-of-68)
, Zydrunas Ilgauskas was the only other Cavalier to score in double
figures with 20 points.
Milwaukee had a more balanced offensive attack against Cleveland. T.J.
Ford scored 24 points, Michael Redd had 23 and rookie Andrew Bogut 21,
while Jamaal Magloire grabbed 15 rebounds.
Redd scored 17 of his 29 points in the third quarter and Magloire added
14 to lead Milwaukee to Monday's 93-92 victory over Chicago and moved
within one game of Cleveland for second place in the Central Division.
James led the Cavaliers in scoring in 13-of-14 December games and has guided
them to seven wins in their last nine contests.
The 2003-2004 Rookie of the Year made 11-of-22 shots and scored 30 points
Saturday as Cleveland posted a 97-84 triumph over the Detroit Pistons.
Ilgauskas scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Larry Hughes added 16
and Drew Gooden 12 and 13 for Cleveland, which limited Detroit to 36
percent shooting (29-of-81).
Milwaukee has won the last seven home encounters against Cleveland by
an average of 12.1 points.
