It was no April Fools' joke, either. James is bothered by a host of maladies, most directly some pain and soreness in his right knee. Before the game, team officials said the reason was ``general body soreness.'' At halftime, after James saw Celtics team doctors, the Cavs released an official injury report that said he was suffering from tendinitis in his right knee. Earlier this season, James dealt with left knee tendinitis but it didn't cause him to miss any time. His status for Tuesday's game at Minnesota is still up in the air. He is being listed as day-to-day. The team said he'll be re-evaluated today in Minnesota, but with the team unlikely to practice, there may be no update until Tuesday. As for other wounds, James took three nasty hits Wednesday in New York, once landing on his tailbone, another time taking a shot above the knee, and also landing hard after a foul. The week before, James smacked his head on the court in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks and took shots in the jaw two days later against the Knicks at home. ``He's got some bumps and bruises,'' Cavs coach Mike Brown said. ``Like a lot of guys this time of season.'' After playing just seven seconds over the last five games, Shannon Brown got the start in James' place.
