Despite 21 points each from Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce, the Celtics took a
92-86 loss Wednesday night in Detroit for their fifth setback in the last
seven games.
Rasheed Wallace, who was playing his first game at The Palace since Boston
signed him last summer, hit five of 13 shots from the field to finish with 16
points.
Rondo had a team-high eight rebounds and seven assists for the C's, who hope
star forward Kevin Garnett will be ready to return Friday when Portland
visits TD Garden.
