A box contais pure oxygen molecule at 1atm ,room temperture 298K
calculate
(a) the average kinetic energy of ONE molecule

(3/2*1*8.314*298)/Na=6.2*10^-21 J

(b) the root mean square velocity of A molecule

6.2*10^-21J = 1/2 * 0.016/Na *u^2 求得 u=682m/s

(c) suppose that the molecule can be view as a sphere with the radius
r=0.15nm , estimate the number of collisions per molecule within a
second.

有u/L=1/t 由气压换算得边常=13.53m 然後就不知道怎麽运用分子边常求..

(d) if one out of 10^5 collisons will make a reaction, one can estimate the
reaction rate using the answer of (c) and what is the order of the
reaction
