He's not a great defender either, leaving NBA teams to ponder exactly what his role might be at the pro level, despite an excellent college career. Williams was a four-year starter at New Mexico, and during his senior year he was 7th in the Mountain West Conference in points per game, 1st in assists per game and 2nd in steals per game. He is also the MWC's all-time leader in assists and minutes played. Kendall Williams, like most undrafted players, probably won't make the Bulls opening night roster, but he does have the size and experience that Thibs and GarPax look for in a young player. His familiarity with Tony Snell and Cameron Bairstow could help, and if he shows during the SL that he can defend and knock down 3-pointers, he has an excellent chance at earning a training camp invite with the Bulls this fall. --
