标题[SQL ] mysql一直无法连线

使用软体 mysql 5.0.37
phpMyAdmin 2.10.2
我在学校server做了一个网页要连mysql server
一直出现
Warning:
Access denied for user 'root'@'www.cc.ntut.edu.tw' (using password: NO) in
/user/student/t6318/t6318094/public_html/index.php on line 7
Could not connect
我写了一个连线测试程式去试连mysql
权限已经开到随便都能登入的境界还是被拒绝
ip位址也设不限
防火墙也关了
实在想不出有什麽方法可以让我的网页能连到sql server
我的首页档名index.php
内容只有
<?php
$link = mysql_pconnect("我的server ip", "root", "密码")
or die("Could not connect");
print ("Connected successfully");
?>
上面是书上看来的范例程式
也试过加上html的header格式也都不行
就这麽短短几行花了我3小时 天哪 哪位好心大大教教我怎麽做吧~~~~~
