春训的期间，他便向得过四次金手套奖的 Mark Grace 请教防守一垒的要诀
没想到 Grace 说：「老实说，这又不是脑部手术。当内野手传球给你，你就接；
当有内野滚地球过来，你就接起来踩一垒，这有什麽难的。」
"Let's be honest, it's not brain surgery. When your
infielders throw you the ball, catch it, and if they
hit you a ground ball catch it and step on the bag.
I mean, it's not that hard."
