今天 D-Backs 派出开幕战投手 Javier Vazquez 应战 结果被轰得满头包 Carl Everett, Paul Konerko, Joe Crede 三人分别从他手中击出全垒打 Vazquez 仅投五局就狂失九分退场 赛後他表示 "Today was one of those days like the last day of the season, when you know you're not going to the playoffs and you have to pitch that last day." (什麽藉口啊....!!) Bob Melvin 说 "I'm not worried about him. He's going to be fine." (编按：Hey Bob, 请别面对媒体就昧着良心说话啊....) 另外 Randy Choate 也在一局中掉四分 (编按 again：我一直到现在都还不知道为何 D-Backs 要跟他续约....) 打者则被对方投手完全的封锁 全场只有四支零星安打 而且还有两支是已经被 optioned 到 AAA 的 Scott Hairston 打的.... 希望这场比赛给教练一个警讯 因为它让我想到了去年的恶梦再续 -- If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?? ---- Gil Grissom, CSI --
