Jacobson's velocity in the fall was 94-95 mph, but this spring it’s been down to 88-91 while touching 92-93. With his coach calling most of his pitches, he relied much more on his improving breaking stuff to post a 9-1, 0.94 record with 96 strikeouts in 67 innings.
