那个 if 不是「如果」，是「是否」的意思。
整个句型是 I don't know whether I thought "A" as much as "B".
A 是 it was going to come sooner（早点达到千安里程碑）
B 是 I didn't see the road that I've taken happening.
（未曾预见这一路走来所发生的挫折起伏）
