标题[情报] Webb tries to clinch series for D-Backs

Right-hander Brandon Webb will be on the hunt for win No. 11 when he toes the
rubber on Thursday for the D-Backs in the series finale against the Dodgers.
今天先发的王牌投手-Webb将挑战他的第11胜，也将帮自己的球队来替这次的系列战做个好
的结局。
If he walks away with the victory, his 11-3 mark would tie the Mets' Tom Glavine
for the best in the National League.
如果他能顺利拿下这一胜，他11胜-3负的战绩将跟大都会的Tom Glavin，在国联的投手排
行榜并列第一。
Webb, who is making a strong case to be a candidate for the National League
Cy Young award, ranks among the top two in baseball in innings pitched (146.1)
and ERA (2.52). Webb also ranks fifth in the National League in strikeouts with
113 and has won two out of his past three starts.
Webb是相当有机会来夺得今年国联赛扬奖的一个候选人，因为他投球局数(146.1)跟防御率
(2.52)都在国联占据领先，(马小鱼的J.J很像才2.48)，还有他113次的三振也排在国联第
五，最近三次的先发拿下了其中两胜，近况越来越好。
Webb will be opposed by Mark Hendrickson, who has yet to win since being traded
to the Dodgers a few weeks ago with batterymate Toby Hall. Hendrickson went 4-8
in 13 starts with a 3.81 ERA prior to being traded.
Webb的对手将是交易到躲人队却还未开张的Mark Hendrickson，六月底随着一波交易名单
来还有他的前队友Toby Hall的，徐在应也因此被换到魔鬼鱼，韩德森在交易前共有13次先
发，战绩是4W-8L，防御率是3.81。
The southpaw pitched well enough to win in his last start but received a
no-decision. Hendrickson went 6 2/3 innings and gave up a run on five hits.
这位左投，上次原本有机会拿下胜投，最後因牛棚放火而无关胜败，主投6.2局，被敲五支
安打仅失ㄧ分。

Webb is tied with Jason Schmidt for second in the National League in complete
games with three. Webb threw his last one on July 2.
