一、英翻中:
National security measures are imposed to protect society as a whole.However,
such measures tend to restrict the rights and freedoms of individuals in the
society.Our concern is that if the exercise of national security laws and
powers is not subject to strict checks and balances, there is a risk that
national security may serve as a pretext for suppressing unfavorable political
and social views.
试译:
国家安全措施的通过,看起来是为了保护社会；不过，这样的措施将限缩社会底下个人的
权利与自由。我们担心的是，国家安全法的实行与其职权，若没有受到严格监督与制衡的
话，那麽保护国家安全可能沦为压制政治及社会方面反对声浪之藉口的风险中。

二、中翻英:
我们的教育制度已无法因应社会改革及经济发展的需求，尤其是全国出生率的降低和社会
价值的改变，已减弱教育文凭的价值。
