各位大大好，
有个问题请教，
以下句子是於网路看到的。
My boss has raised the salary in hopes to attract more employees.
我的老板调涨薪水，希望能够吸引到更多的员工。
句中的 in 是"为了"的意思吗？
如果是那麽後面的hope怎麽不是用动名词
还是有其他用法。
