标题[文法] when与连接词

一般人都知道 两个不同主词写成一个句子 中间需要一个逗号
例如 I am doing homework, and my mother is cooking in the kitchen.
但如果是在when後面呢?
例如
When the first control switch is turned off without receiving the external
voltage, or the capacitors are discharged, the leakage of electricity is
avoided by switching the main control switch.
请问or前方的逗号要不要删除 这样语意有影响吗?
