标题[求译] beyond在这个句子中是修饰谁与谁?

，到这里都还看得懂，Middleware是一个提供给software applications的电脑软体。
从beyond those available from....就看不懂了。
问题一:
beyond是介系词，介系词是用来表示它後面的「受词」与句子中其他字之间的关系。
所以在这里很清楚知道受词指的是those，但我看不出those是跟句子中的哪一个东西有关
系。
问题二:
从句子中很清楚知道，available from the operating system是用来修饰those的
those表示的是复数，指的是software applications吗?
