请问各位:
Researchers built computer stimulations to compare 63 fossilized skulls from
ancient times –each ____ to a different species — to 13 modern whales.
空格前的each不是算代词吗? 视为主词，想问为什麽不能用is corresponding这个答案呢?
还是因为each是当作形容词用，所以corresponding直接当动名词使用吗?(没有连接词)
