标题[文法] 想问where所引导的名词子句

在看八月CNN介绍绿能电池背後原料的来源。
看到下面这段话。
We could't prove where exactly the dirty cobalt enters the international
supply chain.
我们无法证实这些肮脏的钴究竟是从何进入国际供应链。
我想想问的是，这边where所引导的子句，是不是省略掉from。
the dirty cobalt enters the international from where ...
这样理解不知道有没有错
