大家好
最近看到1225经济学人一篇文章中 第一句话
Their words were guarded, their tone sober.
这句话直觉就是缺少连接词 and
而且後面那个sober 不知道该当动词用还是形容词
当形容词也是少一个were
想问一下,有这种使用文法吗?
想说如果是以逗号代替and的话,此篇文章中还是好多地方有放连接词and
第二个问题是
This nervous, inward turn explains why, after a year of eye-for-eye fight
with America, China is determined to bring the trade war to an end.
这一句中, 为什麽nervious後面要放一个逗号?
整个主词应该就是 This nervious inward turn
放个逗号的用法,文法上是哪一条
