想请问这题空格中的题目是什麽？
The paint on the clown's face ____that is scard the children he was trying to enterain.
(a)was so exaggeration
(b)were an exaggeration
(c)was such an exaggeration
(d)was exaggerating
觉得应该是（c）因为such an+名词+that
但对文法不是很熟悉所以不确定
加上觉得(d)选项好像也没错
恳请大家为我解惑
