标题[文法] although 和 but的问题

大家好
有关although 和 but
一般文法书都会说二者不能并存
但我看Charles Harrington Elster的Verbal Advantage里头
Level 6的 Word 6中有一句话是
As I noted in the first half of the program, if you want to learn more about
the world and learn more words, then reading is the best way to edify yourself.
But even entertainment can be edifying,
although some forms of
entertainment,such as watching reruns of "Wheel of Fortune,"
probably won't edify you at all.
这里but even和although,已经并存＠＠
请问这样的写法是否有其他的文法规则，而我没有想到？

2F：→ dunchee: 句子不是这情况：第一个but是连接前一句和but引导的子句( 03/15 01:08
3F：→ dunchee: 没有连接although引导的子句）。although连接的两个子句 03/15 01:09
4F：→ dunchee: 你自己补完 03/15 01:09
5F：→ dunchee: 不能共用的一般是这形式: 03/15 01:35
