标题[文法] 最高级+than是可以的吗？

各位先进早
想请问个问题，如主旨的最高级+than
今天上课主题是比较级与最高级，老师要我们造句
我心想：对我来说，日本是三个国家中最熟悉的一个(图中总共是3个国家)。
所以我本来念：
Japan is the most familiar place for me in the three countries.
不过老师听成：
Japan is the most familiar place for me than the three contries.
我有两个疑问：
1.最高级可以这样用吗？
2.如果真的可以，那是不是应该改成than the two contries?
我有立即询问这个疑惑
老师的回答是，通常比较级会用than
但这样的翻译是perfect的，不过就觉得哪里怪怪的
