前辈好，有一段原文想请教：
that後面那句
｛that are increasingly out of geographical sight and mind.｝
是在补充说明［the lower classes］(下层阶级)
还是在补充说明［real duties］？
the ruling class’s insistent defense of equality is a way of freeing
themselves from any real duties to the lower classes that are increasingly
out of geographical sight and mind.

统治阶级的坚持扞卫平等，是一种让自己摆脱对下层阶级负有任何实际责任的方法
