since 可以表因果，或表时间先後
其实因果或时间都算广义的因果
因为X>Y这样的因果关系会发生
一定会有一个时间先後性
X一定要早於Y先发生
才会有X>Y
感觉好像在说废话
所以简言之，都是在说泛因果，差别在有没有强调时间先後。
举例，A在这边是主要子句
A since B
如果在A这边你就已经看到它用完成式，那这句子就是强调表达时间。
如果A没用完成式，就是表简单的因果叙述，你把它当因为来看也可以。
你的例子是後者，纯粹强调因果之间的关系，X导致Y。
