well...that's the point. We all speak Chinese when we meet so that make me feel weird to speak English with them. Not only in our school, there are so many Chinese shops, supermarkets,etc in the city ATM, driver's guide, bart inforation...all have Chinese translation. So actually you can live here with out learning English. I do want to make foreign friends (that's one of the reasons I want to come here, I think lots of Americans are handsome...ha) but they all talk to themselves or look not very frendly I don't know what to say even in Chinese I'm not very good at communicating But thanks for your suggestion anyway, I feel very happy when I saw someone reply my artical. I will try to talk to foreigner even if it's very hard for me. --
