It doesn't sound very good ,and I am also sorry for hearing this; he is such a good friend to you !! But you are really cool because you tried your best to make up for this and face the music even things don't go the way you want. so just cheer up ^^ ,the misery you considered as could even be something good which you can learn something from :) Good lucky to your friend ^^ and it's really good to know that you have so good a friend:) --
