If you are a biginner like me, maybe you can use your PC to watch DVD and show Eng subtitle(be careful the quality of subtitle). I often go through at the first time choosing Chinese subtitle then choosing Eng. You will get lots of slang in the real life and make your listening better. Environmet is really important to learning Eng that maybe we can construct as possible. --
