Hi, everyone, I went to Taipei Computex 2011 today. Since I am a 3C ethusiast, I am interested in new products, especially PC-related ones. Recently, Intel has released new chip X79 in succession to previous X58. Both are representive for the fastest platform in today's PC market. Although the new Sandy Bridge CPUs for X79 platform have been developing, mainboard manufacturers demonstrate X79 engineering mainboard samples in the exhibition, including ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, ECS, and so on. I personally favors Gigabyte's X79 mainboard with its attactive coloring and design. One thing is worth mentioning. Even though X58 platform has already been in the market for near 3 years, it still stands at the top position, either for the performance or price. Therefore, I believe I would consider X79 platform as my next desktop update, which I would not regret to buy after 3 years. --
