Why books about Chinese culture which are written in foreign languages by
Chinese authors are not translated by themselves? No one knows the true idea
better than the authors,and readers who live in the same culture can understand
these ideas better. I think it is kind of lazyness and an "I don't really
care about what you guys thinking" attitude. To write a book in foreign
languages, one don't have to cite the exact setence of original materials in
his books; one don't have to clearly demonstrate his ideas derived from the
materials he refers to. It is kind of convenience, and really bothering
to unwise readers like me.
