Thanks for sharing the feeling and experience in Vancouver. Vancouver is a very nice city to visit. Canadian English is very standard, in fact, many hosts in the US TV shows and News are from Canada. You will learn a lot from staying there. It's thrilled to have a nice homestay, especially they spend time talking with you after school. I heard some bad homestays who are professional, and lots of students are staying in the same family at the same time. You will not have much chance to talk with homepa or homema. Just remember, your accent is much more standard than Japanese or Korean students, so, don't be afraid of speaking up in class.
