I woke up in the morning not knowing much of anything,
confused, that is.
I thought to myself, hmmmm, it's almost my sixteenth birthday...
But no. My mind cleared a little, and I remembered that it isn't so.
Seventeen...? No, that's not right either... Eighteen...? Nineteen...?
And so on.
When I'm finally fully awake, I laugh at myself.
Sixteen?
I guess I was never ready to grow up.
Living in my own Neverland...
