标题[Mind] So hard to remember

I'v joined postcrossing about 11 months.
Initially, I join it for sending and receiving cards.
Later, I notice that is a good chance to practice my writing in English
when I write a card for foreigners.
Everytime when I use "words", I always suspect the spelling is "o" or "a"?
This words is so common, but I have to check it all the time.
How can I do? I just want to remember the words is words not wards.
(Tongue twister? :P)
