Is it appropriate for poor people to have and raise children? After discussion with Ru, we both agreed that the problem is not about money, and not about social stratification, while the true issue is about how much time that the parents are willing to spend for keeping children company. Money can buy everything excpet love. Only when we spend time with others that we could build up relationship with them. And love may come with company. If someone is not albe to spend time on their children, it's sad for their children. Ru told me one story about her student whose parents have no time to be with him and teach him. Ru's student gets lost in internet and on-line games because only by this way he could find people around him. For him, the frinds there are more close and like his family. They are all abandoned and ignored by their parents. He even refuses to go to school becasue studying means nothing for him. Ru tried to contact his parents several times, but his parents refuse to reply her either. The only thing that the couple teach their son is escaping real life. How rediculous story I have heard. Or maybe we could set up the question before having a child: why should we get married? What does a marrige mean? Why sould we have babies after getting married? Why does a baby come to this world? What should we teach for this baby? I know the answers. I have figured out my own answers for all the above questions. Unfortunetely, for most of people, they don't care about these things at all. It's a desperate loop. No one teaches them why and how, so they don't know what they deserve for their life time. --
