When it’s beautiful it’s
scenery:
Se han declarado estar impresionados con la belleza de los paisajes
bolivianos.
(They said they were impressed by the beauty of the scenery in Bolivia.)
In other contexts, it’s a landscape:
el paisaje urbano de Moscú
(the urban landscape of Moscow)
un pintor de paisajes
(a landscape painter)
