As early as 15, he was winning praises with his slick dance routines, and amazing all with his dexterity and showsmanship. Still, it took a golden chance of a lifetime for him to enter the entertainment industry. Vanness' elder sister, Wu Jia Jia, is part of the girl band, Babes, and during one of their tours in Taiwan in 1995, Vanness appointed himself as her bodyguard. In his spare hours, he checked out the entertainment scene and the rest is, as they say, history! " Oh, my sister is now back in the States, " Vanness reveals. " I do talk to her but mostly about life. [Not] about this showbiz stuff. Just about the issues that we are facing, about life in general, " he laughs softly. --
