Paolo Maldini and Leonardo RESIGN from their roles as Italy Federation technical
director and advisor.
Decision to leave the project just 10 days after joining due to president Malag
ò being against appointing Andrea Pirlo as new head coach for Italian national
team.
The president didn’t approve Pirlo due to his connections with Russian brands;
Maldini and Leonardo only wanted Pirlo and leave their roles immediately.
Paolo Maldini 与 Leonardo 双双辞去义大利足协技术总监与顾问的职务。
在加入该计划仅 10 天後，他们便决定离开，主因是主席 Malagò 反对任命 Andrea Pir
lo 担任 Italy 国家队的新任总教练。主席因 Pirlo 与俄罗斯品牌的关联而未批准此任命
；然而 Maldini 与 Leonardo 坚持非 Pirlo 不可，随即决定立即离职。
