Samuel Eto'o has revealed that he turned down a move to Liverpool and chose
to join
Barcelona from Mallorca last summer.
Eto'o受访时说了去年暑假，利物浦曾经高薪看上他，但是他选择留在伊比利半岛
(毕竟他在马略卡多年)而不是北上不列颠。
The Cameroon international said that money did not influence his decision to
snub the Anfield outfit and joked that the English climate put him off.
"Although they offered me
€6 million (这够值总数600克拉钻石)a season, there
are more important things than money," Eto’o told Catalan daily sports
newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.
