The Arsenal legend and French international has had a difficult time at Camp Nou, and it seems to have taken its toll on the jaded 31-year-old. He was recently divorced from his English wife Claire Merry, making for a not-so-Merry Christmas. Marcel Desailly has lauded the past accomplishments of the striker, who enjoyed his best footballing days in an Arsenal shirt, telling Virgin: "The guy was very fast and unpredictable. He could score in the 18-yard box, he could use his speed and take free-kicks. " "For four or five years he was the best player in the Premier League." However, Henry appears to be enjoying something of a renaissance, most recently playing an instrumental part in Barcelona's 2-0 Clásico win over Real Madrid. Nevertheless, he's less than enthusiastic about the prospect of playing on and on into his footballing twilight years, despite his upturn in fortunes with the Catalans and links with a Premier League return. Asked by Sport if he feels that he's "finished", as reports had suggested, he replied: "That's not far from the truth. I have played 15 years at the top level and it takes its toll. "My career will be over soon and, being a striker, it happens much quicker. As I have said before, I have never run as much as I do now with Barca."
