Afellay took his first steps onto the Nou Camp pitch as a Barça player this
lunchtime, with his new number 20 shitr which he’ll wear from January 1st.

Ibrahim Afellay’s dream of stepping out onto the Nou Camp pitch came true
this lunchtime as Barça’s latest signing posed for the media in his new
club strip.

Taking over from Alves and Deco
At 12.40, Afellay came out onto the pitch with the number 20 shirt he will
be wearing - the first player to have that number since Dani Alves at the
end of the 2008/09 season. Before that Deco had worn the number 20 from 2004
to 2008.

The Dutchman showed off his skills on the Nou Camp turf for the assembled
media , as well as the fortunate fans who were enjoying the Nou Camp Tour and
coincided with Barc’a latest signing.
