The pair had worked together since the start of Wawrinka’s career. “I would like to thank Dimitri for all the work together. Thanks to him I have won the Roland Garros junior title, two ATP World Tour events (2006 Umag, 2010 Casablanca) and reached No. 9 in the (South African Airways) ATP Rankings in 2008. He played a major role in my career and I am extremely grateful,” said Wawrinka, who is yet to appoint a new coach. The 25-year-old Wawrinka suffered a first-round exit at The Championships in Wimbledon, losing out to Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin. The Swiss captured his second ATP World Tour title in Casablanca (d.
